Laura Storm- The Narrow Gate
Laura is currently in production with Postcards from around
the World , a romantic narrative that will be shot in 30 countries
on 6 continents. Her short film All Souls Day , which was
awarded Columbia University's Milos Forman Completion Funds, is currently
showing in festivals around the US, including the Zion Film Festival, Nolita
Film Festival and Cinequests Viewers Voice Competition. Her previous short
film, The White Room , has been in the official
selection of festivals around the world, including the InterArts Festival,
the Athens International Film Festival, Toronto Online Film Festival,
Chicks with Flicks at the Pioneer Theater and a special showcase at the
New Jersey State Film Festival. Laura produced the film Thicker than
Water which won a student
film award at the Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films
and was featured at the Hamptons International Film Festival and the
Mill Valley Film Festival. Laura has worked with Heather MacAllister both
on All Soul's Day and
on the 2003 off-Broadway revival of Neal Bell's Two Small Bodies ,
which Laura directed.
Paul Stone- Tales of Times Square
Paul Stone grew up in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, in
the late 1970's and hung out in Little Italy and Times Square before
they became tourist ghettos and native New Yorkers were made a dying
breed. Stone's route to directing took him first to a successful career
as a film editor for bi-coastal Ridley Scott & Associates.
In the five years that he's been directing, Stone has created commercials and
music videos for clients as varied as Donald Trump , Howard
Stern , Rage Against the Machine , Pfizer and MTV .
Along the way, the people Stone has put in front of the camera include Trump
, Stern , Paul
Newman , Jerry Stiller , Tony Bennett ,
and Tyra Banks . Having recently wrapped post production on
the short film, Tales of Times Square, he is currently seeking financing to
complete Tales of Times Square as his first long format feature.
